Why it works

  • Team review games encourage participation from everyone, not just the quickest volunteers.
  • Random name picking keeps the game fair and ensures all students are included.
  • Timers and scoreboards add structure and motivation, helping students stay on task.

Tips

  • Let students help create review questions to boost interest.
  • Use the timer to keep things moving and reduce downtime.
  • Encourage quiet teamwork so everyone has a voice.

Make it your own

  • Adapt questions for any subject—math, science, ELA, or history.
  • Use in remote or hybrid classes by sharing your screen and using online rosters.
  • Offer visual or verbal clues for students who need extra support.
