V. Data collections and uses
There are kinds of personal data that we collect, and there are kinds of personal data which are collected automatically when you use our Website.
Our use of personal data we collect is simple. We use them only for the following purposes:
- to provide an access to the features of our Website in accordance with the Terms of Service;
- to provide the Teacher Users with the ability to post feedback about Worksheets;
- to improve the quality of our Website using analytical information collected.
There are no other uses of personal data we collect.
A. The data we collect
The following data is collected by us:
1. Name of the Student Users.
Why do we need that and how do we use that?
By nature of the Worksheets, every person accessing the Worksheet via link or via code has to choose any name to be identified from other persons accessing the Worksheet, particularly, in order for the Teacher User to identify Student Users during their educational or other activities with the use of Website.
The Student User may, in principle, use any name or nickname to access the Worksheet. We will never try to identify the person behind this name or nickname. If the Student User uses their real name or any other nickname which can be used to identify the person, we will apply all our data policies to this type of personal information.
We do not check the age of Student Users. This is why we strongly recommend to parents or legal guardians of the Student Users under age of 13 to assure they give us the consent to process the name of the Student User. The consent is given by ticking the box "Yes, I give my consent to the processing of my personal data for the specific purposes listed in Privacy Policy".
We may share the name of the Student User only with:
- the Teacher User, who gave the link and/or the access code to the Worksheet to the Student User, and
- the Student Users, who are also accessing the same Worksheet via the same link and/or the access code.
Whether the name of the Student User is shared with the other Student Users who are also accessing the same Worksheet via the same link and/or the access code depends on the settings of "Leaderboard" in a Worksheet.
2. The score of the Student User (a result) in a Worksheet.
Why do we need that and how do we use that?
This information is processed in order to provide the Teacher User with the ability to assess the performance of the Student Users in the Worksheet.
We may share the score (the result) of the Student User only with:
- the Teacher User, who gave the link and/or the access code to the Worksheet to the Student User, and
- the Student Users, who are also accessing the same Worksheet via the same link and/or the access code.
Whether the score (the result) of the Student User is shared with the other Student Users who are also accessing the same Worksheet via the same link and/or the access code depends on the settings of "Leaderboard" in a Worksheet.
3. Name and Last Name of the Teacher Users.
Why do we need that and how do we use that?
When the Teacher User orders the Upgrade through their Account, the contract between the Teacher User and the Company is concluded. In order for this contract to be valid, both parties have to be identified by means of their full name.
Of course, we cannot prohibit Teacher User from registering under another name. In practice, this would not affect the possibility to use our Website or to buy upgrades. However, it could create difficulties identifying the Teacher User in case of, for instance, issues with payment.
We do not share the name and last name of Teacher User with anybody.
4. Email address of the Teacher User.
Why do we need that, and how do we use that?
Firstly, your email address is a means of logging into your Account.
We also use your email address in order to communicate with you.
We may also use your email address for marketing purposes, however, you have a right to opt–out from receiving marketing offers from us.
We do not share the email address of Teacher User with anybody.
5. The correspondence of us with the Teacher User, if applicable.
Why do we need that?
We do not usually use the correspondence with the Teacher User, but we may use it when the Teacher User is contacting the support, in order to fully understand the situation of the Teacher User.
We do not share correspondence with the Teacher User with anybody. We never disclose the content of this correspondence to anybody.
6. The date of the last login into Teacher User’s account.
Why do we need that?
We do not explicitly use the date of the last login into the Teacher User’s account. The only purpose of processing this data is to make a decision (not an automated one) whether we should delete the account of the Teacher User and his personal data, according to our Data Retention policy, if the Teacher User did not use their account for a long period of time. This paragraph is to be read in conjunction with the article VII of this Policy.
We do not share the date of the last login into Teacher User’s account with anybody.
