What is a NAPLAN practice questions generator?

A NAPLAN practice questions generator writes new questions in the style of the national tests for Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. Pick a domain, set your year level and up to 30 questions, and add a topic if you like. Reading gives a short magazine-style text with literal, inferential and evaluative questions. Conventions of language covers spelling, grammar and punctuation. Numeracy covers number and algebra, measurement and geometry, and statistics and probability, and marks calculator-allowed items for Years 7 and 9. Writing gives one narrative or persuasive prompt with the marking criteria and score ranges. Edit the set, make it easier or harder, then print it or download a Word file.

Questions teachers ask

Are these real NAPLAN tests?

No. Edform writes new practice questions in the style of NAPLAN. They are not past or official tests, and Edform is not affiliated with or endorsed by ACARA.

Is the NAPLAN practice questions generator free?

Yes. Create a free Edform account to use it. The free plan includes a few AI runs every month, and Pro adds more if you create a lot.

Which year levels and domains does it cover?

Years 3, 5, 7 and 9, in reading, conventions of language, numeracy and writing.

Is it an online test like NAPLAN?

No. You get an editable set to use in class, as homework or on paper. To get students used to the online format, use the official public demonstration site as well.

Can I edit, download or print the questions?

Yes. Edit any part by hand, or use one-click changes: Harder, Easier, More tasks, Add solutions or Three difficulty levels. You can also describe your own change. Then copy it into Google Docs, download a Word file or print it.

How accurate are the questions and answers?

The AI drafts and you review. The questions follow the exam's style, but always check answers, marks and wording against the Australian Curriculum for your year level before using them with students.
