What is an AI flashcard generator?
An AI flashcard generator picks the key facts from a topic or your material and writes them as study cards. In Edform you type a topic or add a text, a file, photos, a web page or a YouTube video, and choose 3 to 30 cards. Each card has a term, date, formula or question on the front and a short explanation on the back. Flip through them on the page or start a study round, edit any card, or add five more. How many flashcards can I make?
From 3 to 30 at a time. Click "5 more" to add new cards that don't repeat the ones you have.
Can I make flashcards from a PDF or a video?
Yes. Upload a PDF, Word or PowerPoint file or photos, or paste a web page or YouTube link. You can also just type a topic.
Can I edit the cards?
Yes. Click Edit to change, add or remove cards, or click "Simpler" to rewrite them in easier words. The AI drafts the cards; you decide what stays.
Can I print the flashcards?
Yes. Print a cut-and-fold sheet or save it as PDF, download it as a Word file or as PowerPoint slides (front, then back), or copy the cards as text to import into another study app.
Can students play with the cards?
Yes. Click "Save as activity" and each card becomes a multiple-choice question in an Edform quiz. Assign it, run a live game, or play it with flashcards, pairs and other game modes.
