What is a DepEd lesson plan generator?

A DepEd lesson plan generator writes your plan in the DepEd structure, so you spend less time on formatting. Type a topic or learning competency, paste a lesson or upload a module page, then choose DLL, DLP or MATATAG lesson exemplar and a 45, 50 or 60-minute session. The DLL gives a weekly table with objectives (content standards, performance standards, learning competencies), content, learning resources, procedures A–J, remarks and reflection. The DLP writes one session in full, with teacher's and learners' activities and expected answers. The MATATAG exemplar follows its own teaching and learning procedure and evaluation. Add timing or homework, then edit it, download a Word file or print it.

Questions teachers ask

Which formats are available?

Daily Lesson Log (DLL), Detailed Lesson Plan (DLP) and the MATATAG lesson exemplar structure.

Is the DepEd lesson plan generator free?

Yes. Create a free Edform account to use it. The free plan includes a few AI runs every month, and Pro adds more if you create a lot.

Does it include learning competency codes?

It includes competency codes when it is sure of them and flags anything to check against the official curriculum guide.

Is it an official DepEd template?

No. It follows the DLL and DLP structure of DO 42, s. 2016 and the MATATAG exemplar, but it is not an official document and Edform is not affiliated with DepEd. If your template asks you to declare AI use, note that you drafted the plan with Edform and reviewed it.

Can I edit, download or print the plan?

Yes. Edit the plan by hand, or use one-click changes: Timing, More interactive, Homework, Match the curriculum, Reflection or Shorter. You can also describe your own change. Then copy it, download a Word file or print it.
