Spinner wheel for the classroom — free random wheel

A spinner wheel is a colorful random picker: type your options, spin, and the wheel slows down and lands on one of them. Use it for names, questions, topics, rewards or brain breaks — one entry per line, up to 100 — or load your saved class list in one tap. The result is chosen fairly before the animation starts, so every slice has the same chance. Turn on “Remove the result” so nothing comes up twice, shuffle the order, and put every entry back when the round is over. Press Full screen to spin it on the projector or interactive whiteboard.

How to use it

  1. 1Type the entries, one per line, or tap “Use my class list”.
  2. 2Press Spin (or Space) and watch the wheel slow down.
  3. 3Turn on “Remove the result” so nothing comes up twice.

Ideas for your classroom

  • Spin for the next student to answer, present or choose a prize.
  • Put review questions on the wheel and let it pick the next one.
  • Choose a writing prompt, debate topic or brain-break activity.
  • Decide the order of group presentations, removing each group after its turn.

Questions teachers ask

Is the spinner wheel free?

Yes. It’s free, with no account, and it keeps working offline once the page has opened.

Is every slice equally likely?

Yes. The result is chosen with a fair random number first; the animation then lands on it.

How many entries can the wheel hold?

Up to 100. With many entries the labels get smaller, so keep them short for the projector.

Can I bring removed entries back?

Yes. Press “Put all entries back” to restore the full wheel for a new round.

Can I use my class list?

Yes. Tap “Use my class list” to put every student on the wheel. Names are stored only in your browser.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The wheel resizes to any screen and you can tap the big Spin button.
