What is math fact fluency?

Fact fluency means recalling basic facts — addition, subtraction, times tables, division — quickly and accurately, so working memory is free for harder problems. It comes from short, frequent, low-stakes practice. In Edform, a quiz of facts becomes an arcade game where students pop the balloon or kick the ball to the right answer before time runs out, or a typing race where they type each answer against the clock. The math worksheet generator prints drill sheets in several versions with answers. Every online answer is graded, so you see which facts are still slow or wrong.
