Valentine's Day is a holiday of Catholic origin, celebrated on February 14 in many countries worldwide.

Traditionally on the 14th of February, schools create a lovely atmosphere, and teachers conduct festive lessons. Classrooms and hallways are decorated with Valentine's Day attributes and children gift each other Love cards. However, it is quite difficult to arrange any holidays during online education, but we know how to solve this problem.

We have selected 5 interactive worksheets for your online lesson:

1. Crossword Puzzle

A crossword puzzle is a word puzzle, which is an interlacing series of cells filled with words according to given meanings. Students must guess words from pictures related to Valentine's Day in this crossword puzzle. All the words are presented in the column on the right.

We used the Fill-in-the-Blank question type in this worksheet. It is automatically checked, so as soon as you receive answers from students in the Reports section, you will see the grade for the assignment.

2. Reading Comprehension Worksheets

Introduce students to the history of the Valentine's Day holiday. The reading worksheets will help you do this. They will get students interested in learning, and you can review new words on the topic.

For this worksheet, we used HotSpot, Dropdown, and Open-ended types of questions.

3. Vocabulary Worksheets

Vocabulary worksheets aimed at improving vocabulary, word recognition, and word usage. This assignment focuses on words related to Valentine's Day and love themes. The open-ended activity is perfect for this interactive worksheet. It can be used at the beginning of class or as a homework assignment. Assign these worksheets and track students’ progress in real-time.
