Identifying the sequence of events in a story means you can tell its beginning, middle and end. Sequencing events refers to putting together events or actions in order. Most stories are in proper order so the reader or listener will understand it. There are word clues that help us identify or tell the sequence of the events. There are some instances that stories or situations ending is left to the reader. In that case, readers can make some predictions.
