What are SEL check-in questions?

SEL check-in questions are short prompts that let students share how they feel and how ready they are to learn. Choose a type (morning mood check, readiness to learn, general wellbeing, end-of-week reflection or return after a break) and three to ten questions. Edform mixes emoji or 1–5 rating scales, multiple choice and one open question that take two or three minutes, are all optional and never ask about sensitive personal or family details. For you, it adds how to read the responses, signs that a student may need a private follow-up, gentle phrases to start that conversation and a reminder to involve the school counselor. Print it or download it as Word.
