Los Pasatiempos
The verb "ir" in Spanish means "to go" in English and can be used in two ways. It can be used alongside the preposition a to say where someone is going, but can also be used alongside a + an infinitive verb to express what someone is going to do.
Example:
Voy al supermercado. --> I go (am going) to the supermarket.
Voy a ganar. --> I am going to win.
