 Understanding the Holistic Health

       Health as defined is a state of being free from illness or injury. But being free from such does not
mean that a person is already healthy. Being healthy depends upon the harmony and balance among
the 5 aspects of health: physical, mental, social, emotional and moral-spiritual. This is what we call,
Holistic Health.

Take a look at the Five (5) dimensions of Health

 Healthy Habits




            Here are example health habits you can practice to achieve holistic health

Physical health
  1. Daily exercise
  2. Sports
  3. Eating healthy food
  4. Sleeping at least 8 hours a day

Mental Health
  1. Managing stress or dealing life struggle in a positive way
  2. Giving yourself a sense of purpose with some activities
  3. Having some leisure time to relax your mind

Emotional Health
  1. Practice forgiveness not anger
  2. Dealing emotional stress in a positive way
  3. Enter some fun activities to relieve some stress
  4. Commit to some therapy that will help improve your emotions

Social Health
  1. Enter some volunteer work and charity activities in a community
  2. Participate in sporting events
  3. Meet new people in a social event
