Basic colors and concepts

Before you teach your child colors, you need to be sure that you yourself know the basic concepts and definitions.

Please note that the "-ur" ending is a British spelling. In American English this word would be written as "color". It is among the top differences between British and American English, which you can read more about in this article. By the way, the color gray will also have different spellings:
